Do I need to create an account?

No. Ömrüm has no sign-up at all — no email, no phone number, no password. Your device is your identity. You get a recovery key (and an optional backup card saved to your own Photos) so you can always come back, even on a new phone.

Who can see what we share?

Only the one person you linked with. There is no public feed, no discovery, no followers, no strangers. The app is architecturally built around exactly one couple per space, with strict per-couple access rules on our servers.

Is the location sharing always on?

Never. It's off by default, opt-in when you want it, and one tap turns it off. Your partner only ever sees what you actively chose to share.

Are calls and messages secure?

Calls run over an encrypted connection and messages live on EU servers with strict per-couple access — only your linked partner can ever reach them. No third party in the middle.

What happens if we break up?

Either of you can unlink — the shared space closes for both and your pairing codes regenerate. Deleting your account erases your data and the couple's shared content immediately and irreversibly.

Is it free? iPhone and Android?

Ömrüm is free. It's out now on the App Store, and on Android in early access (the full Google Play release is rolling out). It's built to pair an iPhone with an Android phone, so it doesn't matter which of you has which.
